Canada Mail Strike

To our valued customers,

We are reaching out to you today to bring vital information about the recent Canada Mail Strike and how it affects payment of your accounts to Progressive Turf Equipment.

Some of our customers may not be aware that Canada Post (Canada’s mail service provider) was recently on strike, severely disrupting mail service in Canada. Mail service was stopped for several weeks, creating a large backlog in the system. Canada Post had requested that other countries stop sending mail to Canada, with already inbound mail being held until the work stoppage was resolved and the backlog cleared. For more information on the strike, please see the following links from both Canada Post and the USPS regarding the disruption of mail service.

For customers using the mail system to send us payment, we can no longer accept checks mailed to us for payment until mail services return to normal. Experts predict this could take until late January or possibly early February. In the meantime, payments can be sent to us by couriers such as UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL, etc. Also, for customers able to do so, electronic payment information is available upon request. If you have sent us payment by regular mail after November 1st 2024, please contact our offices.

We thank you for your continued support during this time, and hope the issue is resolved quickly. If there are any questions about this, please contact our office directly.
