213025 Hex Bearing Aftermarket Replacements

Progressive Turf Equipment was recently made aware of several companies online selling replacement HEX insert bearings, claiming that they are compatible replacements for our 213025 Hex Bearing. Several customers have purchased bearings from some of these suppliers, and contacted Progressive and our representative dealers regarding the matter when problems occurred.

In most cases, the bearings available through these unauthorized suppliers are not dimensionally the same as our bearings, and therefore are not compatible with our mowers. In some cases where customers have substituted these bearings, damage to the customer’s mower has resulted. The specifications of that bearing are unique to Progressive, and only available through our distribution network. Other bearings offered online from unauthorized retailers are not supported replacements. Use of non-OEM parts on your equipment can invalidate your warranty, be sure to source them from only authorized suppliers.

Remember: Always use OEM parts when repairing your mower to avoid problems and potential damage to your investment. It’s not just a sales pitch – it’s important to the continued longevity of your investment.
