2017 Golf Industry Show

The secret is out and it was met with overwhelming acceptance!

Progressive decided to test market a new concept in wide-area roller, the Pro-Roll 120 at the Golf Industry Show held recently in Orlando. More and more courses are realizing the value of rolling fairways, essentially taking the best practices from their greens to the fairway. The big advantage of the Pro-Roll 120 that everyone spoke about was the shorter length rollers that both provided a productive 10 foot swath but will also track changing contours better than a 3 unit roller of the same width.

In addition to the Pro-Roll 120, Progressive displayed a TDR-12B 12' roller mower and the popular Pro-Flex 120B contour rough mower in industry green paint on the largest display we have had at GIS.

Progressive also displayed a remote controlled slope mower at GIS. While not directly targeted towards the golf market, many of the attendees saw opportunities for a safer way to mow steep out of bounds areas as well applications in their home municipalities – and raising awareness is what trade shows are all about.
